Universal Studio Singapore – June’10

I had a really good June vacation break.Julian was on leave the entire month, and we really got to spend time going to places, visiting new attractions and all.We decided to take a trip to USS on the day after we arrive back from Bali.

Initially, when I went to the Resort World website, they claimed that all tickets were sold out for that day. Knowing that some tour agent would have gotten hold of the tickets, I went to google it.

Managed to find City Tour Singapore who sells the tickets as well. Went down early morning to their Singapore Flyer booth to collect the tickets before heading over to USS.

Though the park was small.. we had a great time there. Bf had a really good time watching me scream my lungs out when we were on those rollercoaster rides.

Bali – June’10

Bf and I took a trip to Bali two weeks after Hong Kong. It was my first time there – I like the scenery, the beach, the people.. and it was all going to be really romantic, with us staying in a villa and all…

UNTIL – LIZARDS! Two dumb ones dropped right beside me on the first night when we were out having out dinner. Needless to say, i screamed and ran around the restaurant. Bf just sat there laughing. What’s worst was that our romantic villa, had an outdoor bathing area and pool corner, such that those dumb lizards could crawl and drop off at free will. I’ve never felt more freaked out at night when these nocturnal creatures come out to prey – on me!

Other than that, Bali is a beautiful place, I would love to go there again, just that I’m staying in a hotel this time round.

Hong Kong – May’10

It’s my second time to HK, still don’t like the place much, but it was nice to just take a short weekend getaway with the bf. It reminded me a lot of our first weekend getaway at KL last year.

Over the very stressful and depressing weekend, Julian Wee…

bought me this Pancakes magnet,

and this pair of rollerblades (for us to start our exercise regime). Let’s just hope that we won’t collide into some trees in ECP.

Though I’m utterly exhausted, I’m just glad that this weekend turned out well in the end : )

Love each trip up on the Flyer, this time round with the BF. I think we’re going to have to purchase the membership passes otherwise with the hefty price tagged to adult tickets, our banks will soon break!

Something different this time round was that complimentary audio headsets were distributed. Telling us about how hyped up Singapore is over Feng Shui. To your right, you see the Ritz… look closer at the windows, notice how it’s shaped like the ‘Ba Gua’. Look at how the Flyer is turning in a clockwise direction to channel ‘Chi’ over to the Integrated Resort…How Singaporeans carry a lucky charm with them… it’s gold in colour, small, round… yes! It’s your one dollar coin. Etc etc…

Moral of the story? Quit your job and be a Feng Shui master.
