Last Saturday, I chose some ribbons to make hairclips.
So.. there we go..
New hairclips for me!

The only downside is that now my table is smeared over all with superglue.
My fingers too =(

Weeeeeeeeeeee!
After days of procrastination, I finally managed to persuade myself to get the Beanie knitting supplies from this Golden Dragon Store located at creepy Chinatown (that place simply creeps me out; lurking lecherous men, snatch-thieves. *shudders*)
I love the light brown thread.. but was ultimately forced to buy the grey ones because Kit insisted that he wants nothing but the medium-est of grey. I started off knitting immediately since I was on a roll.. hurhur.
Credits to here for the beanie’s pattern

I was totally inspired by this lady at Simple Joys, so I decided to self-customise my own counters using my beads and charms. In case anyone’s wondering what are counters used for, they’re basically used to make ‘count-keeping’ of stitches easier. For example, for every 30 stitches, I can loop one counter to signify 30 stitches.
These are the conventional counters that can be purchased from knitting stores.

And.. these are the ones I made.

The ‘hand-made- with- love counter’ is my personal favourite.

I was at Haji Lane last Sunday when I came across this cozy shop that sells all these pretty accessories.
Lobster Clasp, jump rings, jewels and… well you get it. I couldn’t resist, so I bought even more supplies…. and came up with this Blue-glass bead Set.

Alright, I’m off to get knitting supplies for a beanie. Au Revoir!
