A house without strong fundamental foundation might remain intact but not for long before it might not be habitable for the owners. If you realised that the foundation has cracked when viewing the house, would you still buy it and stay in it? And if you realised that it lacks strong foundation after buying the house without much thinking, what would you do?
I wonder if it is too late to lay on the missing fundamental foundation after many months of stay. And if you try to pile on different layers of foundation on an already cracked house, would the other owner resist as a result of high noise level and extensive amount of effort to move the belongings out of the house so that foundation can be laid upon?
It is often so stressful simply making an effort together to sieve through old and unwanted items to be thrown out, for everyone is so comfortable living with them. Or simply being too bogged down with work to even bother to salvage the house. Buying new items to replace the old can also be tiring and trying, and it doesn’t help when only one co-owner is doing the planning and shopping. It can feel as if you are constantly making solo decisions for a house belonging to someone else, having only minor commitment from the other owner in terms of time and effort or worse yet, feel so alone in this whole renovation process and house.
Is it better then, to sell off the house to another and search for another place with better foundation?
Shifting is never easy for being sentimental to your current place more often then not leave you in tears, but if you don’t shift or make attempts to lay on the foundation together as co-owners, a house without foundation would simply be just another dream house for either one.
