On teaching

First time celebrating in school ever. Guess it won’t be the last.

Pictures taken in the early evening, love the beautiful sea of red and white.

Needless to say, being the sucker for fireworks, they were the highlight of the day for me.

We had a farewell lunch for our Art professor… and I think we’re all going to miss him and his wacky ways. He’s like the coolest professor ever and the total saving grace of my otherwise stuffy and colourless uni. years.

Yes.. this is my favourite and highly-respected prof.

Like winter’s rain, end of practicum was long awaited and bittersweet in memory. Flashes of screaming moments, supportive friends, seem so far so far away. Has it been that long, I search my mind.

Though I thank God greatly for having answered my desperate prayer, I feel this overwhelming sense of hesitation as I  embark on my next journey in life. I seek answers to many questions with an extremely heavy heart, now that I have more time on hand than ever. Being idle is of no good as it festers on the mind, the heart and the soul.

I am really glad that I made it to church despite the pouring rain this morning, for the omnipresent God has answered some of my pressing questions through a testimony sharing- Children are precious. “Let all the children come to me”…. he said again and again. Not just children from a complete family nucleus but also those who are fatherless/ motherless or both. Then the speaker who shared his powerful testimony called upon those of us whom our parents have led down, whose father never was a hero to be looked upon, to forgive them. I cried silently as I prayed a prayer of forgiveness.

Just one more Lord. Just one more.
