Season greetings 1 Comment
Chinese New Year has never felt more surreal. It’s amazing how it came and went without much notice and certainly not so much of a hype. I guess the few things which made it real was the sum of money collected from the red packets and the too few pictures taken.

With my little Cousins.

Knitting & Crochet 1 Comment

I haven’t posted anything knitted or likes for ages. Well… that’s because I haven’t had the time to do anything concrete. Just one simple soft drawstring pouch here which I have no idea whatever for. But I’m proud to say that everything is knitted right down to the drawstring which was made using the I-cord method.
Pattern wise was taken out of a book I borrowed from the community library some time back.

Thomas Malthus believed that because of mankind’s great ability to procreate, there will always be more children born than can survive. He also believed that because the production of food can never keep pace with the increase in population, huge numbers were destined to succumb in existence. (Malthus, T., 1766 - 1834 : 409)
The good news is, those who survived to grow up – and perpetuate the race -would be the fittest of the lot.
The lot of us celebrated our eldest cousin’s birthday at Fish Bistro- Greenwood Ave. with some very reasonably priced set-lunches at $21++…

… and thereafter at Settlers’ for some violent games.

December’08 has been pretty good to me despite being awfully broke.
More to come with such traditions, I hope =)
Happy 2009 world!
